Kawneer KW137716-40 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) What comes in the Kawneer KW137716-40 CP-11 package?
The KW137716-40 is a matched pair: one Arch Classic CP-11 pull and one CP-11 push, supplied together as a coordinated trim set for a single door. Because both halves ship as one package, the exterior pull and interior push plate match in profile and finish without having to source them separately.
2) Does the KW137716-40 include the exit device itself?
No, it is trim only. You get the CP-11 pull and the CP-11 push as a replacement trim package for an exit device that is already on the door. If the device itself is failing, the panic hardware has to be ordered separately.
3) What finish is the Kawneer CP-11 pull and push package KW137716-40?
Dark Bronze. That is the standard anodized-look finish on a lot of Kawneer storefront and entrance systems, so the trim will read consistently with existing Kawneer doors and frames on the same elevation rather than standing out as a mismatched replacement.
4) I need to re-trim a pair of doors. How many KW137716-40 packages do I order?
One package covers one door leaf, since it contains a single CP-11 pull and a single CP-11 push. For a pair of doors with 42 inch exit devices on both leaves, order two.
5) Is the CP-11 pull and push set rated for commercial traffic?
Yes, it is a commercial product, not residential trim. Kawneer lists it for commercial exit device applications, which is where these packages normally land: office buildings, schools, healthcare, retail, industrial facilities, multi-tenant residential and municipal buildings.
