Kawneer KW137717-14 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) What comes in the Kawneer KW137717-14 CP-11 package?
The KW137717-14 ships as a matched set: one Arch Classic CP-11 pull and one CP-11 push, so you get both sides of the door trim in a single part number rather than ordering the pull and push separately.
2) Will the KW137717-14 pull and push package work on a 36 inch exit device?
No. This Arch Classic CP-11 package is sized and configured for 48 inch exit devices. On a shorter device the trim spacing won't line up, so you'd need the package built for that device length instead.
3) I'm replacing worn pull and push trim on a Kawneer storefront door. Does this include the exit device itself?
No. The KW137717-14 is trim only, a replacement pull and push package for an existing 48 inch exit device. The device, latching hardware and any cylinder stay as-is; you're swapping only the pull and push components.
4) Is the KW137717-14 a genuine Kawneer part or an aftermarket copy?
It's an authentic Kawneer service part, carried under the Kawneer Service Parts line. That matters on Arch Classic openings where the replacement trim has to match the existing profile and mounting on the original device.
5) What finish is the Arch Classic CP-11 pull and push package?
Clear Aluminum, which is the standard anodized look on Kawneer architectural aluminum doors and storefronts. If the rest of your entrance is Clear Aluminum, this trim will read the same across the opening.
6) Is this CP-11 trim rated for commercial entrance traffic or is it a residential part?
Commercial only. The CP-11 pull and push package is built for commercial entryways, storefront and curtainwall doors, schools, healthcare and municipal buildings running Kawneer door systems.
