Leviton 80423-T 5-Gang Light Almond Wall Plate

The Leviton 80423-T is a 5-gang wall plate finished in Light Almond, designed to provide a clean, coordinated cover for multi-device electrical installations. Built for use over switches, receptacles, and other standard wiring devices, this wall plate delivers a durable, professional-grade finish that matches Leviton's broader Light Almond device line. Its 5-gang configuration makes it a practical choice for rooms and panels where several devices are grouped together, such as home offices, utility rooms, mechanical closets, and multi-switch lighting control stations. As part of Leviton's standard wall plate offering, the 80423-T is engineered to mount securely to standard electrical boxes and align with companion Leviton devices for a uniform look throughout a room or facility.

Leviton 80423-T – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Will the Leviton 80423-T cover a 5-gang box with five switches in it?
Yes. The 80423-T is a 5-gang wall plate, so it covers five ganged wiring devices under one plate, and it mounts over standard electrical boxes and switch/receptacle assemblies with conventional mounting screws. It's the plate for a multi-switch lighting control station or a grouped device panel.
2) Is Light Almond the same as ivory or white? I need to match the switches already on the wall.
Light Almond is its own color, not ivory and not white. The 80423-T is finished in Light Almond to coordinate with Leviton's Light Almond wiring device line, so it matches Light Almond switches and receptacles. If the existing devices are ivory or white, this plate will read as a different shade next to them.
3) Can I use the 80423-T over a mix of switches and receptacles in the same gang box?
Yes, within the standard-device family. It's built for use over switches, receptacles, and other standard wiring devices, so a 5-gang run that mixes toggles and duplex receptacles is fine as long as every opening is a standard (toggle/duplex) device prep. Decorator-style rocker devices need a decorator plate instead, not this one.
4) Is a 5-gang plate the right call, or should I use separate plates on each device?
If the devices sit in one ganged box, a single 5-gang plate like the 80423-T is what you want, since separate plates cannot span a ganged box without gaps at the dividers. Use individual 1-gang plates only where the boxes are physically separate. For facility work where several rooms get the same treatment, standardizing on one gang size and one color (here, Light Almond, sold 100 to the pack) keeps the look consistent.
5) Are mounting screws included with the Leviton 80423-T wall plates?
The 80423-T installs with conventional mounting screws over standard boxes and device assemblies. Plan on the screws that come with the wiring devices themselves for the hardware; the plate's job is the cover and the Light Almond finish.
