No. This is a UTP jack, built for unshielded twisted-pair Category 6 cable. If your run is shielded (F/UTP or S/FTP) and you need the shield bonded through to ground, you need a shielded jack instead, not this one.

5) Can I use a Cat6 jack on an existing Cat5e cable run?
Physically yes, the 8P8C interface is the same and it will terminate 4-pair UTP. But the finished channel only performs to the lowest-rated component, so a Cat6 jack on Cat5e cable still certifies as Cat5e. Use these where the cable itself is Category 6.
