1) What's the difference between the Leviton 5366-C and the 15-amp version of this straight blade plug?
Amperage and blade configuration. The Leviton 5366-C is the 20-amp version in NEMA 5-20P, which has the T-slot style horizontal-leg hot blade. The other option, MPN 14W47, is 15 amps in NEMA 5-15P with two parallel straight blades. Both are 125-volt, 2-pole 3-wire polarized industrial grade plugs. Match the plug to the cord's ampacity and the receptacle you're plugging into.
2) Will a NEMA 5-20P plug fit a standard 15-amp household receptacle?
No. The 20-amp 5366-C plug has the sideways T-blade, and a straight 15-amp receptacle won't accept it. If the equipment is going into ordinary 15-amp duplex receptacles, order the 15-amp 5-15P version (14W47) instead. A 5-15P plug will go into both 15A and 20A 5-series receptacles.
