Both are 125V, 2-pole, 3-wire straight blade industrial grade flanged inlets in white, and the only difference between them is the current rating: the 15378-C is the 20A device and the 5278-C is the 15A device. Match the inlet to the branch circuit and the cord set you are feeding, not to the equipment nameplate alone.
2) Is a flanged inlet the same thing as a receptacle, and when would I use one?
