LTBUS02L-L is 1/2 inch trade size liquid tight flexible metallic conduit, supplied in a 1,000 ft (300 m) length. That is a bulk reel quantity, so it suits a full job or a shop stock item rather than a short whip repair.

The blue jacket on the LTBUS02L-L is a color-coded identification. Electricians and facility crews use colored liquidtight to separate circuits or systems at a glance, for example keeping one service or voltage class distinct from another across a plant or building. Electrically and mechanically it is the same 1/2 inch liquid tight flexible metallic conduit; the color is for identification on the job.

Galvanized steel core with a jacket over it. Steel core gives you the mechanical strength and pull resistance that a contractor wants on machine connections and equipment whips, and the galvanizing is what keeps the core from rusting inside the jacket in damp locations.

That is the normal use for it. Liquid tight flexible metallic conduit is the go-to for the last few feet into a motor, compressor, pump or rooftop HVAC unit, where the run has to flex, absorb vibration, and shed water. The galvanized steel core carries the mechanical duty; 1/2 inch trade size is the common whip size for control and small power circuits.

Not the same. This is the metallic type, LFMC, built on a galvanized steel core. Use LFMC where the run needs physical strength and impact resistance and where you want the metal raceway on the equipment connection. Liquidtight non-metallic, LFNC, is lighter and used where a non-conductive raceway is wanted or where corrosive exposure is the bigger concern. They take different fittings, so pick the conduit and the connectors as a set.
