Thomas & Betts LTBUS03L-C LFMC CMP UL 3/4IN BLU 30M/100FT

It is 3/4 inch trade size liquid tight flexible metallic conduit, supplied as a 100 ft (30 m) coil. One coil covers a single 100 foot run or several shorter equipment drops, so for a job needing more than 100 feet of 3/4 inch you are ordering multiple coils.

The LTBUS03L-C is built on a galvanized steel core under the jacket, so it is metallic flexible conduit rather than the non-metallic (LFNC) type. Whether the raceway itself may serve as the equipment grounding conductor depends on the size, the length of the run, the overcurrent protection and the fittings used, so many installers still pull a separate green EGC through it on motor and equipment connections.

Use LFMC where the raceway has to flex or absorb vibration and still keep water out: the final whip to a motor, rooftop HVAC units, pumps, compressors, and any damp or wet location termination. Rigid and EMT are the choice for the long fixed runs; the 3/4 inch blue LFMC handles the last few feet into the equipment where a hard pipe would transmit vibration or could not be aligned.

The LTBUS03L-C is blue jacketed, which crews commonly use to color code a circuit type or system so it is identifiable at a glance in a mechanical room or on a rooftop. Electrically and mechanically it is still standard liquid tight flexible metallic conduit with a galvanized steel core; the color is an identification choice, not a performance difference.
