The core is galvanised steel, so this is liquid tight flexible METALLIC conduit (LFMC), not the nonmetallic type. The steel is what distinguishes it from plastic liquid tight, which has no metal core at all. Bonding and grounding still follow whatever your inspector requires for the run, including a separate equipment grounding conductor where the installation calls for one.

No. The LTTUS02G-C ships as conduit only. You order liquid tight connectors separately, matched to 1/2 inch trade size and rated for the same environment as the run, straight or 45/90 degree as the equipment box dictates. Budget two connectors per whip plus sealing rings or locknuts where the enclosure requires them.

For anything exposed to weather, washdown, or oil, the liquid tight version is the one to use. The plastic jacket over the galvanised steel core is what keeps moisture out of the raceway; standard FMC has a bare interlocked steel core with no jacket and is a dry location product. Inside a clean mechanical room on a dry motor connection, plain FMC is the cheaper and usually adequate choice.

The jacket is grey, the standard color for general purpose LFMC on commercial and industrial work. If your existing whips and equipment drops are grey, this matches. Orange or blue jackets on a site usually indicate a different jacket compound rather than a cosmetic choice, so don't assume those swap one for one.
