Metallics MWG2059XL – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Are lined cowhide driver gloves the right choice for electrical work, or should I use a different glove?
Top grain cowhide drivers like the MWG2059XL are general-purpose hand protection for pulling wire, handling conduit, strut, and fittings, and rough material handling. They are not electrical-insulating gloves. If you need protection from live conductors, you need rubber insulating gloves rated to a voltage class with leather protectors, not a leather driver.
2) What kind of glove is the Metallics MWG2059XL?
It's a lined driver-style work glove made of top grain cowhide. Driver gloves have a one-piece wrap-around palm and keystone thumb, so they fit close for handling tools and material, and the lining adds warmth and some comfort over bare leather.
3) Does the Metallics MWG2059XL come as a pair or in a bulk pack?
The MWG2059XL is set up as a single model with one orderable configuration, so you're buying the XL lined cowhide driver glove as listed under that one part number rather than choosing between a pair and a case pack.
