The Metallics BFRB14 is a straight-shank carbide masonry bit, so it chucks into a normal keyed or keyless three-jaw drill chuck, including a standard hammer drill. It is not an SDS or SDS-Plus bit, so it will not lock into a rotary hammer that takes only SDS shanks. If your crew runs rotary hammers, you need SDS-shank bits instead.
