Medeco System Series Shrouded Shackle Padlock

The Medeco® System Series padlock offers a high security solution for a multitude of applications and are available in two distinctive body styels, an indoor/outdoor weather resistant design or with a shrouded shackle.  Both models utilize a boron alloy steel shackle which provides protection to resist cutting and increased tensile strength to resist pulling attacks. The boron alloy steel also ensures that the shackle has an exceptional degree of ductility and is not brittle.

With the High security cylinder option, System Series padlocks use hardened, stainless steel inserts to provide the ultimate defense against drilling, pulling and other forms of vandal attack. Patented key programs prevent the unauthorized duplication of keys and maintain system integrity. Padlocks can be keyed alike, keyed differently, or masterkeyed with existing door hardware systems.

The Medeco 4 (M4) design provides utility patent protection against unauthorized duplication of key. The Shuttle Pin movable element in the key provides protection against 3D printing.

How to Install and Set Up XT AIR on an iOS Device:

• From your device's browser, enter the proper URL to access your XT Web Manager system. Click on "Download iOS Key Client" in the top tool bar.
• Click the "Install App" button. IMPORTANT: You must follow the instructions to grant Trusted Access or XT AIR will not run on your device.
• Once installed, click on the XT AIR icon to open the app and then click on "Settings" (icon looks like a "gear").
• Enter the XT Web Manager URL for your system, and the User Name and Password that has been assigned.
• If the key is charged and the correct login information has been entered, the Status Screen will confirm "Connected" and will show the serial number, battery level and expiration date of the key.
• Clicking on the "Activity" tab or swiping left will show the last 10 Audit Events for this key.

How to Install and Set Up XT AIR on an Android Device:

• From your device's browser, enter the proper URL to access your XT Web Manager system. Click on "Download Mobile Applications" in the top tool bar.
• There are two XT apps available for Android. Click the "XT AIR" download.
• Once installed, click on the XT AIR icon to open the app and then click on "Settings" (icon looks like "dots").
• Enter the XT Web Manager URL for your system, and the User Name and Password that has been assigned.
• If the key is charged and the correct login information has been entered, the Status Screen will confirm "Connected" and will show the serial number, battery level and expiration date of the key.
• Clicking on the "Activity" tab or swiping left will show the last 10 Audit Events for this key.
