The Medeco Maxum Residential Double Cylinder Deadbolt (Model 11R53W) is a UL 437 Listed, BHMA A156.5 Grade 1 Certified high-security deadbolt engineered to deliver unmatched protection against unauthorized key duplication, bumping attacks, picking, drilling, wrenching, kicking, and other forms of physical abuse. Featuring Biaxial cylinder technology with the G3 Keyway and Captive Key function, this deadbolt fits doors 1 3/8" to 2 1/2" thick and installs into a standard 2 1/8" crossbore and 1" edge bore (ANSI A115.13 prep). A solid 1" hardened steel bolt housed in heavy-gauge tubular steel provides maximum defense against physical attack, while the Medeco 4 (M4) design carries a utility patent protecting against unauthorized key duplication.
