The Medeco XT Dual-Tech retrofit cylinder is designed for both accountability and rapid-entry applications.It combines two cylinder technologies – the Medeco XT electronic cylinder and the Medeco X4 mechanical cylinder– in one cylinder housing.

• The Medeco XT electronic cylinder provides everyday access and gives the user full control and accountability by leveraging all of the features of Medeco’s powerful XT Web Manager software.
• The Medeco X4 mechanical cylinder is ideal for local fire departments because it uses simple and familiar mechanical key technology, allowing rapid entry for inspections or emergency responses.
• Both cylinders operate independently of one another so access is provided using either the XT Key or the X4 key.
• Product can be ordered either pinned or sub-assembled for the Medeco X4 cylinder and includes two keys.
