The Mersen A70QS Series is a line of Premium Amp-trap French cylindrical semiconductor fuses built for demanding power electronics applications. These solid-fill, ceramic-body fuses are IEC rated 690VAC with 200kA interrupting capacity and 700VDC with 100kA interrupting capacity at a 10ms time constant, with an additional 890VDC rating for capacitor discharge applications up to 2.5ms time constant. Ferrule mount construction and an ampere range of 10 to 800 A make this series suitable for small inverter drives, UPS systems, solid state relays, and motor drives, with superior I²t for improved semiconductor protection and performance.
