The Mersen Amp-Trap® HSJ is a High-Speed Class J fuse engineered to combine the low I2t characteristics of a semiconductor fuse with the branch-circuit performance of a UL Listed Class J fuse in a single device. Rated 600VAC and 500VDC with a 200A Amp-Trap® rating and a 200 kA AC interrupting capacity, the HSJ delivers NEC-compliant branch-circuit protection while also safeguarding sensitive power semiconductors such as Diodes, SCRs, GTOs, and SSRs. Clip-mounted for straightforward installation, this fuse is built for demanding industrial power electronics and drive applications where both circuit and component protection are required.
