1) Will a Mersen ATMR fuse fit a standard 10x38mm Class CC fuse holder?
The ATMR is a Class CC ferrule fuse with a 1.5 inch body length, which is the standard Class CC dimension (10x38mm), so it drops into any Class CC rejection holder or clip base. Class CC holders are rejection-style by design: they accept Class CC only and physically block Class G, J, or midget fuses, so if your holder is marked Class CC the ATMR seats correctly.
2) Can I use the Mersen ATMR fuse on a 600V DC battery or solar circuit, not just AC?
Both. The ATMR carries a 600V AC and a 600V DC rating, so it's usable in DC systems such as battery storage and PV strings as well as AC control power. That dual rating is not a given on midget fuses, and it's the reason this one shows up in UPS and renewable energy panels. AC frequency rating is 50/60 Hz.
3) Is a fast-acting Class CC fuse like the ATMR right for protecting a motor circuit?
Not for motor branch-circuit protection. The ATMR is fast-acting, so it clears quickly and will not ride through a motor's inrush current on start; you'd get nuisance openings. Physically yes, the other way around no. The ATMR is 1.5 inches long with the same ferrule ends as a standard midget fuse, so it seats in a plain midget clip or holder. But a Class CC rejection holder will not accept a plain midget fuse in return, because the rejection feature keys to the Class CC ferrule. If you are replacing into a rejection-style CC holder you must use a Class CC fuse such as the ATMR.
5) What amperages does the Mersen ATMR fuse come in?
Eighteen ratings, from 1/4 amp up to 30 amps: 0.25, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25 and 30 amps.
