The Mersen D0R0 Series Amp-Trap® is a medium voltage, current-limiting fuse engineered to protect transformers and distribution lines from overload and short-circuit conditions. This E-Rated fuse is designed to withstand transformer magnetizing inrush current while opening at levels as low as 1.7 times its ampere rating up to its maximum interrupting rating. Built with a Ferrule connection/terminal type and Silver-Plated Copper terminals, this unit is rated 5500V AC UL, 150A, with a 63 kA AC max interrupting rating, and mounts in spring-reinforced clips. The family is available with 2" (size C), 3" (size D), and 2x3" (size DD) diameter PolyTube barrels for a range of medium voltage protection applications.
