Order the cover by the enclosure's nominal box size, not by the cover's outside dimension. The Milbank CNAC flush covers run 4x4, 6x6, 6x12, 8x8, 8x10, 10x10, 10x12, 12x12, 12x16, 12x18, 12x24, 16x16, 18x18, 18x24, 24x24, 24x30, 24x36, 30x30, 36x36 and 36x48. The cover carries a 3/4 inch flange on all four sides, so it overlaps the box opening rather than sitting inside it. Part numbers follow the size: 12x12 is 1212FLC, 24x36 is 2436FLC, 36x48 is 3648FLC.
2) Can I use this Milbank blank cover outdoors or in a washdown area?
No. The CNAC blank flush cover is an indoor replacement cover and carries no NEMA rating, so it should not be used where it will see rain, sprayed water, or dust ingress requirements. For an outdoor or wet-location box you need a gasketed, rated cover matched to the enclosure's NEMA type.
3) Is this a hinged door or a screw-on cover?
Screw mount. It is a plain screw cover, not hinged, so you back the screws out to get in and reinstall them after. That is fine for a junction or pull box you rarely open, but if the box gets opened routinely a hinged cover is the better choice.
