1) What size wireway does the Milbank GF end flange fit?
The GF end flange is made to match square wireway trough sizes: 2.5x2.5, 4x4, 6x6, 8x8, 10x10 and 12x12. Order the flange that matches your trough size, so a 6-inch square wireway takes the 66GF and a 12-inch square run takes the 1212GF.
2) Is the Milbank GF wireway flange painted or unpainted, and what is the difference in part number?
Both. Painted flanges carry the ANSI 61 gray powder coat and use the plain number (44GF, 66GF, 88GF, 1010GF, 1212GF). Unpainted steel carries the -NP suffix (44GF-NP, 66GF-NP, 88GF-NP, 1010GF-NP, 1212GF-NP). The 2.5x2.5 flange, 22GF, comes painted only. Pick painted if you are tying into an existing gray Milbank wireway run so the finish matches.
3) Can I use a Milbank wireway end flange outdoors or in a wash-down area?
No. It is a Type 1 indoor enclosure fitting, which protects against incidental contact with the enclosed equipment and nothing more. There is no rating here for rain, dust or wash-down, so an exterior wall run, a rooftop feed or a damp process area needs a Type 3R or Type 4 wireway and matching fittings instead.
4) Does the Milbank GF end flange come with knockouts for conduit?
No knockouts. The GF is a blank closure for the open end of a wireway trough, so if you need conduit to enter or leave at that end you either drill and punch the flange in the field or bring the conduit in through the trough body. Plan the entry point before you close the run.
