At 1/2 inch tall, the 1012SS sits low enough that most doors clear it without undercutting, and the top face is smooth rather than ribbed or serrated, so carts, chairs and foot traffic roll and walk across it cleanly. The profile is 10 inches wide by 1/2 inch tall, so plan on the full 10 inches of floor coverage across the opening when you lay it out against the door stop and the frame.
2) What lengths does the NGP 1012SS stainless steel threshold come in, and which one fits a standard 36 inch door?
Two lengths are made: 38 inches and 72 inches. The 38 inch piece is the one for a single 3-0 opening, since it gives you a little material past the jambs to trim to the exact frame width. The 72 inch length is for a pair of doors or a 6-0 opening, and it can also be cut down for two singles.
