The Norton 1600 closer includes regular and heavy-duty arms, brackets, and multiple options to adapt to any mounting requirement—regular arm, top jamb, or parallel arm. It is a non-handed door closer, allowing for flexible installation across various door configurations.
With staked valves and separate, independent controls for latch, sweep, and backcheck, this Norton 1600 series door closer provides precise door control in demanding environments. Available with a molded plastic cover or in a corrosion-resistant model (non-hold open only), it has a 2-7/8" (73mm) projection and a 1-3/8" (35mm) diameter piston, along with 5/8" (16mm) pinion journals for enhanced durability.
