Our History In 1965, Robert and Fred Lee, a father-and-son duo of homebuilders, were dissatisfied with the lighting products available in the market. They opened their own lighting showroom in Atlanta, working out of a repurposed grocery store. They started by importing fixtures and assembling them in-house. This small venture quickly expanded into a manufacturing plant, a warehouse, a catalog business, and a national network of sales representatives, marking the birth of Savoy House.
