The Norton Rixson 700 Overhead Concealed Closer is a center-hung closer designed for single-acting, handed, low-to-moderate traffic interior and exterior doors weighing up to 200lbs.

  • For aluminum doors & frames
  • Door width: 706 = 30" (ext), 36" (int); 707 = 36" (ext), 39" (int); 708 = 42" (ext), 44" (int)
  • Single-acting, exterior or interior doors
  • Handed
  • Model number/size (706, 707, 708) is determined by door width
  • Available non-hold open (N) or automatic hold open (A) (specify 90° or 105°)
  • Door/frame: specify prefix M (metal doors/frames), MW (wood doors/metal frames), W (wood doors/frames); frame size: 2" x 5-1/2" minimum - no prefix (aluminum doors/frames); frame size: 1-3/4" x 4" minimum
  • Adjustable closing speed valve
  • Adjustable hydraulic backcheck
  • Frame stop required - Norton Rixson 60131 recommended
  • Bottom pivot included
  • Product should always be used with an auxiliary stop
  • Extended spindle: 1/2" longer than standard closer spindle - must be ordered as part of the closer and cannot be added later
  • Optional 199 end cap available for top and bottom of wood door
  • Arms only available in sprayed finishes
