Yes. The JNYN162 is a 10-32 hex nylon insert locknut, cut to 32 threads per inch to the ANSI/ASME B1.1 thread standard, so it runs onto any standard 10-32 UNF machine screw or bolt. The nylon ring sits at the top of the nut and grips the male thread as it engages, which is why no lockwasher is needed behind it.
2) Do these Metallics locknuts meet a dimensional spec I can put on a submittal?

These also should not be run up against heat-soaked surfaces, nylon is the limiting element, not the zinc-plated steel body.
