NUVO Lighting 60-1268 Ballerina 7 Light 48in, Vanity with Champagne Linen Washed Glass

Plan on a full 48 inches of clear wall width. The Ballerina 60-1268 measures 48 inches wide, 7.63 inches high, and projects 8.5 inches off the wall. That 8.5 inch extension matters over a vanity top, since it sits well forward of the wall plane and can crowd a mirror surround or a tall faucet. It is a wall mount fixture, so you need a box centered on the run.

It is rated for damp locations and indoor use only, which covers a normal bathroom where it picks up steam and humidity, including a room with weak ventilation. Damp does not mean wet, so do not install it inside a shower or tub enclosure where it can take direct spray, and do not use it outdoors. For a shower location you need a fixture specifically wet listed.

No. The Ballerina 60-1268 is not ADA compliant, and its 8.5 inch projection from the wall is the reason to look closely at it on an institutional job. For protruding-object limits in accessible restrooms and corridors you will want a vanity or wall fixture with a shallower extension and an ADA designation.

It carries a cULus safety listing, so it is certified for both US and Canadian installation, and it is RoHS compliant. Note for submittal packages: the fixture is flagged under California Prop 65 for lead, which is the disclosure most spec sheets ask about on multi-family and hospitality jobs.

Yes, it is an up or down wall fixture, so the same unit can be installed with the glass facing up for softer ceiling-bounced light or down to throw light onto the vanity top. Over a mirror most installers run it glass up; glass down puts more light on the face but shows the lamp more.

One combination: Mahogany Bronze with Champagne linen washed glass. Body is glass and steel, styled traditional. Since it is part of the NUVO Ballerina collection, matching it across a building means ordering other Ballerina models in the same Mahogany Bronze and Champagne pairing rather than mixing finishes from another collection.

The fixture weighs 14.94 lbs, so it is within the 50 lb capability of a properly secured outlet box, but at 48 inches long the load is cantilevered off a single center box. Make sure the box is a fixture-rated box fastened to framing or a bar hanger, not a loose plastic box in drywall, and use the mounting strap that comes with the fixture.
