If you want it dimmable, that comes from the lamp you choose plus the wall dimmer, not from the fixture itself, so a dimmable LED A19 will dim and a standard non-dim LED will not.
    3) How much ceiling space does the NUVO 60-283 take up and how far does it hang down?
    Plan on an 11.5 inch diameter footprint and 4.5 inch drop from the ceiling plane.
