NUVO Lighting 60-6757 Basel, 1-Light, Pendant Fixture, Burnished Brass Finish with Clear Glass

The Basel 60-6757 ships with (2) 6 inch rods and (2) 12 inch rods, so you build the drop from those pieces and can run it at a maximum overall height of 53 inches. Use fewer or shorter rods for a low ceiling; the fixture body itself is 14.63 inches tall, so the shortest practical hang is roughly the body plus one 6 inch rod and the canopy.

No. The Basel pendant is rated for dry locations only and is listed as an indoor fixture, so a covered porch, a shower, or a tub surround is out. It will work in a bathroom only where it stays outside the wet or damp zone, such as over a vanity in a well ventilated room. For a porch or damp area, choose a pendant specifically marked damp or wet location rated.

It takes a single E26 medium base lamp in an A19 shape, rated to 100W maximum on 120V. No bulb is included, so order lamps separately. Any standard A19 LED or incandescent in a medium socket will fit; just stay at or under the 100W rating.

It carries a cULus safety listing, which covers both US and Canadian installations, and it is RoHS compliant. Note it is flagged under California Prop 65 for lead, which matters for disclosure on jobs in California.

The Basel weighs 8.9 lbs, which is within the 50 lb capacity of a standard fixture rated outlet box, so no special fan box or bracing is needed as long as the existing box is fixture rated. It comes with 12 feet (144 inches) of wire, enough slack for high ceilings and sloped runs. Mounting is ceiling rod type.

No. The 60-6757 is incandescent technology, meaning a plain lamp holder with no onboard LED module and no CCT selection switch. Color temperature is whatever bulb you install, so if you want 3000K across a building, specify the lamps and standardize there rather than at the fixture.

Mounting is rod type from the ceiling, which means the fixture hangs on rigid stems rather than a chain or cord. Rod mounts need the canopy to sit level, so a sloped ceiling requires a sloped ceiling adapter at the box to keep the stem plumb. On a flat ceiling it mounts directly with no adapter.

Construction is brass and glass: a burnished brass finish frame with a clear glass shade. Clear glass means the bulb is visible, so a decorative or filament style A19 reads better than a frosted utility lamp. The style is transitional, so it mixes with both traditional and contemporary rooms, and the Basel collection lets you repeat the same finish across openings.

The manufacturer part number is 60/6757, also written 60-6757, from NUVO Lighting's Basel collection. It is offered in the one configuration, burnished brass with clear glass, as a 1-light pendant.
