NUVO Lighting 60-6868 – Frequently Asked Questions

    1) Can I install the Bahari mini pendant over a kitchen sink, in a bathroom, or on a covered porch?
It is rated for dry locations indoors only. That rules out a covered porch, a shower or tub zone, and any spot that sees steam or splash. Over a kitchen island or a dining table it's fine. For a damp area you need a fixture carrying a damp or wet location rating instead.
    2) Is the NUVO 60-6868 safety listed for commercial buildings?
The Bahari mini pendant carries a cETLus safety listing, which covers both US and Canadian requirements, and runs on standard 120V line voltage. Note it is rod mounted to the ceiling only, so it needs a supported ceiling outlet box at each location.
    3) Can the Bahari pendant be mounted on a sloped ceiling or as a semi-flush?
Mounting is rod to ceiling, downrod only. There's no swag, chain, or flush option in the assembly, and the kit is limited to the two 6 inch and two 12 inch rods supplied. For a sloped ceiling you need to confirm the canopy accommodates the pitch or use a sloped ceiling adapter; for a low ceiling where a hanging fixture won't clear, choose a flush or semi-flush fixture instead.
    4) Does the NUVO Bahari pendant come with an LED or selectable color temperature?
No. It's an incandescent-technology fixture with an open E26 socket and no integrated LED, and there is no CCT selection built in. Color temperature is whatever lamp you install, so if you're standardizing a building at 3000K you control that at the bulb.
    5) Does the NUVO 60-6868 require a California Prop 65 warning?
Yes. Lead is the listed Prop 65 chemical for this fixture, so a Prop 65 warning applies for California shipments. Worth noting if you're procuring for a California facility with disclosure requirements.
    6) How much wire comes with the Bahari pendant for the ceiling connection?
There's 144 inches of wire supplied, 12 feet, which is ample for the 52.4 inch maximum drop and leaves plenty to trim back at the canopy. You cut to the hanging height you need.
