    The fixture weighs 5.5 lbs, well within the 50 lb limit of a listed fixture-rated outlet box, so a standard ceiling box rated for luminaire support is enough. It is a chain-hung ceiling mount, so the canopy covers the box and the chain plus supply wire run down to the fixture.
