NUVO Lighting 60-7161 Marina, 1-Light, Wall Sconce Fixture, Matte Black Finish with Clear Glass

The Marina 60-7161 is an indoor fixture with a Damp location rating, so a vanity or general bathroom wall is fine. Damp rated does not cover wet locations, so keep it out of direct shower spray and off exterior walls exposed to weather. NUVO also lists it in the Vanity and Wall category.

It takes one medium base (E26) lamp, rated to 60W max, and no bulb ships with the fixture, so order lamps separately. NUVO specs a T9 shape lamp, which is the tubular look that suits the clear glass cylinder since the bulb is visible. Dimming depends entirely on the lamp you choose.

The fixture carries a cULus safety listing, which covers both US and Canadian installations. It is a 120V incandescent-technology fixture, so it drops onto standard residential and light commercial branch circuits without a driver or transformer.

Six inches of fixture wire comes off the Marina 60-7161, which lands inside a standard wall box without splicing extensions. If your existing box is recessed deep or offset, plan on pigtails. The fixture weighs 2.86 lbs, so a standard box with a fixture strap carries it without extra bracing.

The 60-7161 is the matte black, clear glass version of the NUVO Marina collection, and matte black is the only finish this model is built in. For a consistent look across a unit or floor, order other Marina collection pieces rather than mixing in a different family, since black tones vary between collections.

No. The 60-7161 is a lamp-based fixture, not an integrated LED, and it has no CCT selectable function. Color temperature is set by whichever E26 lamp you install, so to standardize color across a building, specify the same LED filament or T9 lamp at every location.

It is a wall-mount only fixture and the data does not define an up or down orientation beyond that, so install it per the mounting bracket supplied. What you can plan around: 17.25 inches overall with a 4 inch by 9 inch clear cylinder, so the glass occupies roughly half the fixture length and the lamp is visible from any angle. Use a decorative-quality lamp.

Construction is steel with a glass cylinder shade. NUVO discloses lead under California Proposition 65 for this fixture, which is the standard disclosure on many metal lighting products and is worth noting on California projects that require Prop 65 documentation in the submittal package.
