NUVO Lighting 60-7181 Bransel, 1-Light, Vanity Fixture, Brushed Nickel Finish with Clear Seeded Glass

The Bransel 60-7181 carries a damp location rating and is listed for indoor use only, so it's fine over a vanity or in a typical bathroom where it may see humidity, but it is not wet rated. Don't put it directly in a shower enclosure or tub spray zone, and don't use it outdoors or in an unprotected covered exterior spot. It's cULus safety listed.

It takes a single standard A19 lamp on a medium E26 base, rated to 60W max at 120V. No bulb ships with the fixture, so order lamps separately. You can put an LED A19 in it as long as it fits the E26 socket and stays within 60W equivalent draw. Dimming depends entirely on the lamp you choose, not the fixture, so if you want it on a dimmer pick a dimmable bulb matched to your dimmer.

No. The Bransel 60-7181 is not ADA compliant, and with a 5.5 inch projection it exceeds the 4 inch maximum protrusion ADA allows for objects mounted between 27 and 80 inches above the floor. For public or common-area restrooms in commercial, healthcare, or multi-family work, specify an ADA-rated sconce instead.

Construction is steel with a glass shade, finished in brushed nickel. Steel body with a damp-rated listing suits normal bathroom humidity, and brushed nickel is the easiest finish to match across a building since most standard bath faucets and cabinet hardware are offered in it. The whole fixture weighs 1.39 lbs, so it hangs off a standard wall box with no extra bracing.

No. It's an incandescent-technology fixture, meaning it's a socketed housing rather than an integrated LED, and it has no CCT selectable switch. Your color temperature comes from whichever E26 lamp you install, so if you're standardizing a building on 3000K you just buy the lamps to match.

It's a wall-mount fixture with a cylindrical clear seeded glass shade, so it can be oriented shade-up or shade-down depending on the look you want and the height of your box. Shade-down over a mirror throws more light onto the counter; shade-up bounces light off the ceiling. Either way you're wiring to a standard wall junction box.

The fixture has 6 inches of supply lead. That's enough to make up to the branch circuit conductors inside a standard wall box, but if your existing box has short or brittle conductors you'll want to pigtail them out before you hang the fixture.

Yes. The Bransel 60-7181 is listed as containing lead under California Proposition 65. If you're buying for a California jobsite or reselling into that state, you'll need to carry the Prop 65 lead warning through to the end customer.

Model 60-7181 is the brushed nickel version with clear seeded glass. That's the single configuration under this part number, so there's no finish to specify on the order, just the quantity.
