NUVO Lighting 60-7311 Caleta, 1-Light, Wall Sconce Fixture, Black Finish with Frosted Cylindrical Glass

Yes. The Caleta 60-7311 carries a damp location rating and is classified as an indoor fixture, so it is fine in a bathroom where it sees humidity but no direct water spray. NUVO categorizes it under vanity and wall applications. Do not use it outdoors or anywhere it would take direct water, since damp rated is not wet rated.

It takes one standard A19 lamp with an E26 medium base, rated to 60W maximum on 120V. No bulb ships with the fixture, so order lamps separately. Dimming depends entirely on the lamp you choose, the fixture has no driver of its own.

No. The Caleta 60-7311 is not ADA compliant, and at 5.75 inches of extension it projects past the 4 inch limit ADA allows for wall-mounted objects between 27 and 80 inches above the floor. For a corridor or egress path in a commercial or multi-family building, specify an ADA sconce instead.

Yes. The fixture is built as an incandescent-technology sconce with an E26 medium socket, so any LED A19 retrofit lamp with a medium base drops right in as long as you stay at or under the 60W fixture rating. LED A19 lamps draw well under that. Whether it dims comes down to the lamp and your dimmer, not the fixture, and there is no color-temperature selector on this one.

Extension is 5.75 inches from the wall face, with an overall size of 4.75 inches wide by 7.13 inches high. That projection matters in a narrow hallway or beside a mirror where a doorway or traffic path runs close to the wall.

It is cETLus listed, which covers both US and Canadian requirements, and it is RoHS compliant. That listing is what an inspector or facility spec typically asks for on a 120V hardwired sconce.

The body is steel in a black finish with a frosted glass cylinder shade. Steel body over a plastic or resin one is the reason it stands up better to repeated tenant turns and bulb changes. The fixture weighs 1.4 lbs, light enough to land on a standard wall box without extra bracing.

Black is the only finish offered on the 60-7311. It is a traditional-style fixture in the NUVO Caleta collection, so if you are standardizing across a building the collection name is what to search on to find matching vanity bars and other Caleta pieces.

Yes. Lead is the listed Prop 65 chemical for this fixture. If you are buying for a California jobsite or a retail environment there, plan for the warning label requirement.
