NUVO Lighting 60-7472 – Frequently Asked Questions

    1) What bulb does the NUVO Tango 60-7472 small pendant take, and is one included?
The Tango small pendant takes one E26 medium base bulb, A19 shape, up to 60W. No bulb ships with the fixture, so order lamps separately. Dimming depends entirely on the lamp you put in it, so if the room is on a dimmer, choose a dimmable A19.
    2) Can this NUVO pendant go on a covered porch or in a bathroom over a tub?
No. The Tango 60-7472 is rated for dry locations only and listed for indoor use, so keep it out of covered exterior spaces, shower and tub zones, and anywhere it can see moisture. For those spots you need a damp or wet rated pendant.
    3) Is the NUVO Tango pendant safety listed for a commercial build?
It carries a cULus safety listing, which covers both US and Canadian installs, and it runs on standard 120V line voltage. Note the California Prop 65 disclosure for lead if you are supplying a project in that state.
    4) How is the Tango 60-7472 mounted, and will a standard ceiling box hold it?
It is a ceiling mounted pendant weighing 3.13 lbs, well within what a standard listed ceiling outlet box supports. Single lamp fixture, so one switched hot, neutral and ground at the box is all it needs at 120V.
    5) What is the Tango 60-7472 actually made of and what is the finish combination?
Steel construction with a matte black shade and polished nickel accent, in a modern profile. It ships in that one finish combination, so if you are running several over an island or a lobby counter they will match unit to unit.
    6) Does the Tango 60-7472 pendant have selectable color temperature?
No. It is an incandescent-technology fixture with no CCT selection built in, so the color temperature is whatever lamp you install. Put a 2700K A19 in it for warm light or a 3000K for something cooler, up to the 60W maximum.
