The Colony medium pendant takes a single E26 medium base lamp, A19 shape, up to 100W at 120V. No bulb ships with the fixture, so order lamps separately. Dimming is lamp dependent, meaning the fixture has no driver of its own: put a dimmable LED A19 in it on a compatible dimmer and it dims, put a standard non-dimmable LED in it and it won't.

It ships with 48 inches of chain and a maximum overall height of 56.625 inches from the ceiling, with the fixture body itself 8.125 inches tall. Chain can be shortened on site to set the drop, so for a kitchen island at standard 8-foot ceilings you'll be removing links, not adding them. The hanging weight is 7.64 lbs, light enough for a standard ceiling outlet box rated for luminaire support.

Covered porches and bathrooms are out. The Colony pendant is rated for dry locations only and is an indoor fixture, so no damp or wet rated applications: no showers, no tub areas, no exterior soffits or porches even under cover. A dry laundry room or hallway is fine. For a bath or covered entry you need a damp rated pendant instead.

It carries a cULus safety listing, which covers both US and Canadian installations. Note the dry location limit and 120V single-phase supply when specifying it for a hospitality or multi-family job.

Chain hung from a ceiling mount canopy, single light. Chain lets the fixture self-plumb, so it hangs level on a sloped or cathedral ceiling as long as the canopy itself is rated for the slope and you keep the 19-7/8 inch shade clear of the high side. A rigid stem pendant would not self-level that way.

Yes. The fixture is built around incandescent technology with a 100W maximum, and any E26 A19 LED drawing well under that rating drops right in. It has no integrated LED array and no selectable color temperature, so whatever CCT you want in the space is chosen at the lamp. For dimming, both the lamp and the wall dimmer have to be compatible, since the fixture contributes nothing to dimming performance.

Steel construction, finished Matte Black on the shade with Burnished Brass as the contrast accent, in a mid-century profile. Only one finish combination is built for 60-7484, so if you are matching other openings or rooms in a building, every unit under that part number will land the same. Note the fixture is flagged under CA Prop 65 for lead, which matters for California projects requiring a warning.
