NUVO Lighting 60-7912 Admiral 1-Light Pendant, 6in, Matte Black and Brushed Nickel Finish, White Opal Glass

It takes a single medium base (E26) A19 lamp rated up to 60W, and no bulb is packed with the fixture. Buy lamps separately. The fixture is incandescent technology with no integrated LED, so an A19 LED retrofit in E26 works fine as long as you stay within the 60W maximum rating.

The Admiral 1-light pendant carries a damp location rating and is classified as an indoor fixture. That makes it acceptable over a vanity or in a bath outside the shower spray zone, but not for wet locations, open exterior soffits exposed to rain, or anywhere it can be hit with direct water. For a true outdoor porch you need a wet-rated pendant instead.

Each fixture is 6.5 inches wide and 14 inches tall, and weighs 3.19 lbs. At that diameter a run of three over a standard kitchen island spaces comfortably without the opal glass shades crowding each other. The light weight means a standard ceiling outlet box with a fixture strap handles it with no extra bracing.

It carries a cULus safety listing, so it is recognized for both US and Canadian installations, and it is RoHS compliant. It's a 120V ceiling-mounted fixture. Note the California Prop 65 notice for lead, which matters if you are specifying for a facility in California.

It is a rod-stem ceiling mount pendant with 12 feet of supply wire, hung from the ceiling canopy. Stem-hung pendants like this hang plumb on a slope only if the canopy supports the pitch, so on a vaulted or angled ceiling plan on a sloped-ceiling adapter. On a flat ceiling it installs straight to the outlet box with the supplied rods.

The Admiral 6-inch pendant is a two-tone fixture: matte black body with brushed nickel accents and a white opal glass shade, in a contemporary style. If the rest of the room is straight brushed nickel it reads as a mixed-metal accent rather than a match, which is usually the intent. The steel body takes the finish, so it holds up better than a plated plastic shell in rental turnover.

No. The Admiral pendant has no CCT selector and no onboard LED. Color temperature is set purely by whichever E26 A19 lamp you install, so if you are standardizing a building at 3000K you just buy lamps at 3000K.
