One 8 foot wire ships with the pendant and the LED is already integrated, so there is no lamp to buy. It mounts to a standard 120V outlet box on a hanging canopy. You'll supply the box and, if you are reducing the drop, shorten the wire during install. At 2.51 lbs the fixture is light enough for any properly secured ceiling box.
