NUVO Lighting 62-827 Melrose, 12W, 16in, LED Pendant, Matte White Finish

It carries a Damp location rating and is an indoor fixture, so a bathroom ceiling or a covered spot over a sink is fine. It is not rated for wet locations, so do not use it in an open porch, soffit exposed to rain, or directly in a shower spray zone.

The LED is integrated, so there is no socket and no lamp to buy. It draws 12 watts, puts out 1020 lumens, and is rated for an average 30,000 hours. When the LED reaches end of life the fixture is replaced rather than relamped, which is worth knowing if you are standardizing a building on relampable fixtures.

Dimmable, on 120V line voltage. Since the driver is integrated, pair it with a dimmer rated for LED loads; a 12 watt fixture is a very light load, so on a multi-fixture run check the dimmer's minimum load as well as its maximum.

The Melrose 62-827 is a fixed color temperature fixture, not CCT selectable, so the color is set at the factory and cannot be field-switched to match adjacent fixtures. Its CRI is 90, which is high enough for kitchens, retail displays and hospitality where color rendering matters. If you need field-adjustable color to blend with existing fixtures, choose a CCT selectable pendant instead.

It is cETLus listed, which covers both US and Canadian safety requirements, and the fixture is RoHS compliant. That combination satisfies most commercial and multi-family inspection requirements for an indoor 120V luminaire. Note the California Prop 65 disclosure for lead.

Matte White is the only finish for the 62-827. It is a contemporary style cylinder pendant, 16.14 inches tall and 2.4 inches in diameter, with an aluminum body. If you need a darker or metallic finish to match existing trim, you will need a different Melrose model number.
