Dimming depends entirely on the lamp you install, since the fixture itself is an incandescent-technology housing with no driver, so a dimmable LED A19 will dim on a compatible dimmer and a standard non-dimmable LED will not.

The SF76-191 is a damp-location rated, indoor-only fixture. That makes it acceptable over a bathroom vanity or in a laundry room where steam is present, but it is not wet-rated, so do not use it on an open porch, over a shower head, or anywhere it can take direct water. For exposed exterior ceilings you need a wet-listed fixture instead.

There is no alternate finish on this model number, so if you are standardizing across apartments, every SF76-191 you order will look identical. Clear ribbed glass shows the lamp, so use the same lamp type and color temperature throughout or the openings will not match visually.
