The SF77-192 is an 18 inch wide vanity strip, so it lines up with an 18 inch cabinet or mirror rather than overhanging it. It stands 4.75 inches high and projects 2 inches off the wall, which keeps it clear of a mirror door swing and out of the way over a sink. It is a wall mount fixture, so it wires to a standard vanity box above the mirror.

Bulbs are not included. The SF77-192 takes three medium base (E26) lamps in a Type G globe shape, rated to 100W each at 120V. Order the lamps separately when you order the fixture, or the job is not finished when it lands on site.

Damp location rated and indoor only, so the SF77-192 is fine on a bathroom wall above a vanity where it sees steam. It is not wet location rated, so do not put it directly over a tub or inside a shower enclosure, and do not use it on a covered porch or any exterior wall. For those spots you need a wet listed fixture.

Dimming on the SF77-192 depends entirely on the lamp you put in it, since there is no driver in the fixture. It is an incandescent technology fixture with three E26 sockets on 120V, so incandescent or halogen globes dim on a standard forward phase dimmer. Drop in LED globes and you need lamps marked dimmable, matched to the dimmer you already have on the wall.

It is a socketed incandescent fixture, not an integrated LED, so there is no driver and no fixed color temperature to live with. Three E26 sockets mean you choose the lamp, and you can change your mind later, which is the practical argument for a socketed strip over an integrated LED bar in a rental or a facility standardizing on one lamp type. It is not CCT selectable, since the color comes from whatever you screw in.

A three lamp strip on a flat wall backplate installs either way off a standard vanity box. Lamps up throws light onto the ceiling and softens it; lamps down puts more light on the counter and into the sink. With a 2 inch projection and 4.75 inch height, the fixture sits tight to the wall in either orientation.

The SF77-192 has a steel base with a polished chrome finish, not plastic, which is what you want in a unit that gets relamped by tenants and wiped down by housekeeping. The whole fixture weighs 2.29 lbs, so it hangs off a standard vanity box with no extra bracing. Note it carries a CA Prop 65 lead warning, which matters if you are shipping to California properties.

Polished chrome is the only finish under the SF77-192 model number. If you are matching brushed nickel or bronze faucets across a building, that is a different NUVO part number, not an option on this one. The chrome pairs with chrome or polished nickel faucet trim.
