    1) Will the NUVO TH226 track head fit my existing track, or do I need a specific brand of track?
    The TH226 uses a universal holder, so it mounts to standard track rather than being locked to one track brand. It's a ceiling-mount track head running on 120V. If you're standardizing heads across a building on mixed track runs, the universal holder is the reason this one gets specified.
    2) What bulb does the NUVO TH226 track head take, and does it come with one?
    Bulbs are not included. The TH226 takes a single E26 medium base lamp in an R20 shape, rated up to 150W at 120V. Order lamps separately, and stay at or under the 150W rating.
    3) Can I put the TH226 track head in a covered exterior walkway or a bathroom over a shower?
    No. The TH226 is rated for dry locations and indoor use only. Covered walkways, canopies, and anywhere subject to condensation or splash need a damp or wet rated fixture instead. A dry-rated head in one of those spots is a code problem and a callback.
    4) Is the NUVO TH226 track head dimmable?
    Dimming is lamp dependent on the TH226. The head itself carries no driver, it's an incandescent-technology holder for an E26 lamp, so whether it dims and how smoothly comes down to the bulb you put in it and the dimmer on the circuit. Put a dimmable lamp in it on a compatible dimmer and it dims; put a non-dimmable lamp in and it won't.
    5) How far does the TH226 track head drop below the track, and how much room does it need?
    Extension is 6.88 inches, which is the drop from the track to the fixture. The head itself measures 4.63 inches long by 2 inches wide by 2 inches high. On a low ceiling or anywhere with head clearance concerns over a display or counter, that 6.88 inch extension is the number to check against.
    6) How many TH226 track heads can I run on one 120V circuit?
    Each TH226 head is rated to 150W at 120V, but the real load is whatever lamp you install, not the fixture maximum. Size the circuit off the actual R20 lamp wattage times the number of heads on the run, and don't exceed 150W per head. If you're lamping with LED R20s the connected load per head drops sharply and you can run considerably more on the same track.
    7) What finish does the NUVO TH226 come in?
    White only. The TH226 is built in glass and metal with a white finish, so on a white ceiling and white track it reads as one system. If the track run is already black or brushed nickel, this head will stand out against it.
    8) Does the NUVO TH226 track head require a California Prop 65 warning?
    Yes. The TH226 is listed with lead as a Prop 65 chemical. If you're shipping to a California job or a facility that flows Prop 65 disclosures through submittals, that's the declared substance.

    No, and it can't. The TH226 is a lamp holder, not an integrated LED head, so there's no CCT selector on the fixture. Color temperature is entirely set by the R20 lamp you install, which means you can also re-lamp to a different temperature later without changing hardware.
