    1) Will the NUVO TH235 track head run on my 120V track, or do I need a low voltage system?
    The TH235 is a 12V track head, so it needs a low voltage track system or a track with an integral transformer feeding 12V to the head. Drop it onto a standard 120V line voltage track and the MR16 lamp will not survive. If your track is 120V line voltage, you want a line voltage head instead.
    2) Can I put the TH235 track head on a covered porch or in a bathroom with a shower?
    No. The TH235 is rated for dry locations and indoor use only. Covered exterior soffits, porches, and damp spots like an enclosed shower area need a damp or wet location rated fixture. A dry bathroom ceiling away from the shower is fine.
    3) Is the NUVO TH235 track head dimmable?
    Dimming is lamp dependent on this head. There is no driver in the fixture, so whether it dims comes down to the 12V MR16 lamp you install and the transformer and dimmer in the track system. A standard 12V halogen MR16 on a magnetic low voltage dimmer dims; an MR16 LED only dims if the lamp is rated for it.
    4) How far does the TH235 head hang below the ceiling track?
    Extension is 6.375 inches, and the head body itself measures 2.75 by 2.25 by 2.25 inches. It is a ceiling mount track head, so figure roughly six and a half inches of drop from the track plus the track height when you are checking clearance over display cases, retail gondolas, or a gallery wall.
    5) Does the NUVO TH235 track head carry a safety listing for commercial installs?
    It is cETLus listed, which covers both US and Canadian safety requirements, and the fixture is RoHS compliant. That listing is what most facility and institutional specs ask for on indoor track lighting. Note it is a dry location listing only.
