    1) What bulb does the NUVO TH312 track head take, and is one included?
    The TH312 takes a single MR16-shape lamp with a GU10 bi-pin base, rated up to 50W at 120V. No lamp is supplied, so order bulbs separately. Because it is GU10 line voltage, you do not need a transformer, but don't try to fit a GU5.3 two-pin MR16 in it - the twist-lock GU10 base is a different part.
    2) Can I use this NUVO square track head outdoors or in a covered patio?
    No. The TH312 is rated for dry locations and indoor use only. A covered patio, a car wash bay, a walk-in cooler or a bathroom over a shower all call for a damp or wet rated fixture instead. Keep this one to conditioned interior retail, office, gallery and residential ceilings.
    3) How does the TH312 mount, and will it fit my existing track?
    It is a ceiling-mount track head that snaps into a track run rather than mounting to a junction box, so you need an energized 120V track already in place. Track heads are keyed to a specific track system, so match the head's connector to the track you have before ordering a batch - the installation sheet at the NUVO instruction link shows the adapter detail.
    4) Can the TH312 track head be dimmed?
    Dimming is lamp dependent on the TH312. The head itself has no driver or dimming electronics, so whether it dims comes down to the GU10 lamp you put in it and the dimmer on the circuit. A halogen GU10 will dim on a standard incandescent dimmer; an LED GU10 needs to be a dimmable model matched to the dimmer.
