    1) Can the TH457 track head be used in a covered exterior walkway or a bathroom with a shower?
    No. The TH457 is rated for dry locations and indoor use only, so it is not suitable for a covered walkway, a canopy, or a shower area. Keep it to conditioned interior space such as retail, office, lobby, or gallery ceilings, and specify a damp or wet rated head where moisture is present.
    2) Do I need to buy bulbs for the NUVO TH457, and what happens when the LED fails?
    No lamp to buy. The TH457 uses an integrated LED, so the light source is built into the head and there is no socket or replaceable bulb. Average rated life is 30,000 hours. When the LED reaches end of life the whole head gets replaced, which is worth knowing if you are standardizing a building and want spares on the shelf.
    3) Is the TH457 dimmable, and does it change color temperature?
    Dimmable, yes. The TH457 is a dimmable 120V LED head, so it runs on a dimmed track circuit. It is not CCT selectable, so there is no field switch for color temperature and every head on the run will be the same fixed color. If you are mixing it with older heads on the same track, expect a visible difference unless those match.
    4) What finish does the TH457 come in if I need to match existing track heads?
    Brushed nickel is the only finish offered on the TH457, in a contemporary taper-back shape. If the other heads in the space are black or white, this one will not match them visually even though it fits the same style of ceiling track run.
