    1) Will the NUVO TH637 track head fit my existing track, and what track system does it use?
    The TH637 is an H-style track head, per NUVO's own installation sheet for the model (TH637 H-Style Track Head Installation Instructions). H-style is the 3-wire Halo-type pattern, so it drops onto existing H-track runs without changing the track. It will not seat in J (Juno) or L (Lightolier) track.
    2) Is this track head dimmable, and can I replace the lamp later?
    It dims, and it runs on 120V line voltage. The LED is integrated, so there is no lamp to swap out, no socket and no bulb to stock. At 30,000 average rated hours the head itself is the service item when it eventually fails. Because it is an integrated LED driver rather than a screw-in lamp, use a dimmer the driver is compatible with on a forward-phase 120V circuit.
    3) Can I use this track head on a covered patio or in a bathroom?
    No. The TH637 is rated for dry locations and indoor use only, so keep it out of covered exterior soffits, open porches, and shower or tub zones. For damp or wet areas you need a head carrying a damp or wet location rating.
    4) How much light does a 12W LED track head put out, and what is it bright enough for?
    1020 lumens from 12 watts at 120V. That is in the range of a 65W to 75W halogen PAR head, so it works for retail accenting, gallery and display lighting, or general ceiling-run track in offices and lobbies. Color is a fixed warm 3000K with a CRI of 90, which is high enough for merchandise and artwork where color accuracy matters.
    5) Can I change the color temperature on the TH637, or is 3000K fixed?
    Fixed. The TH637 is not CCT selectable, so every head is 3000K warm white. If you are adding heads to an existing run, match the 3000K or the run will read mismatched on the ceiling.
    6) How far does this cylinder track head hang below the ceiling?
    Extension is 5.375 inches from the track, and the cylinder body measures 3.37 long by 2.25 by 2.25 inches. At 0.44 lbs per head it is light enough that a standard H-track run carries a full row without any supplemental support.
    7) What is the housing made of, and will it hold up in a high-traffic retail or lobby space?
    Housing is aluminum and steel in a matte black body with brushed brass accent. Metal construction rather than plastic, mounted to the ceiling track, so it takes repeated re-aiming when displays get rearranged. The aluminum also matters thermally on an integrated LED, since the body is the heat sink that gets the head to its 30,000 hour rating.
    8) What finish does the TH637 come in?
    One finish only: matte black with brushed brass. There is no alternate finish on the TH637, so if you are standardizing a building on a single look, the whole order lands as matte black and brushed brass.
