NUVO Lighting TL112 240W, 120V, 2 Amp, Black Track Live End Current Limiter

The TL112 live end is rated 240 watts at 120 volts, with a 2 amp limit. That is the ceiling for everything downstream on that track run, so add up the wattage of every head you plan to hang: ten 24W heads, or six 40W heads, puts you right at the limit. If your run needs more than 240W, feed it with a higher-rated live end or split the run into separately fed sections.

No. The TL112 is an indoor component with a dry location rating only. Keep it out of covered exterior soffits, canopies, shower areas and anywhere subject to condensation, and use a fixture and feed assembly rated damp or wet for those spots.

A live end is the electrical feed for the track: it caps the end of the track section and brings line power in, and the current limiter inside restricts the circuit to 2 amps so the run cannot be overloaded past its 240W rating. You need one live end per independently fed track section. It is not the same as a dead end (a plain non-powered cap) or a connector that joins two track sections together, so order those separately if the layout calls for them.

No. The TL112 is a 120V component. A 277V lighting branch circuit, common in commercial buildings, requires a live end rated for that voltage; installing this one on 277V is a code and safety problem.

It measures 6.625 inches long, 2.5 inches wide and 1.25 inches high, so plan for roughly 6-5/8 inches of track length consumed at the feed point. The housing is black, which blends with black track; on white or brushed nickel track it will read as a contrasting block at the end of the run.

Black is the only finish for the TL112. If the job uses white track, the feed component will not match, so either accept the contrast or source the white-finish equivalent live end in the same track family.

Yes, lead is the listed Prop 65 chemical for the TL112. Institutional and government buyers who require Prop 65 disclosure on submittals should note it on the package.
