The PDQ XGT176 is the Privacy function (ANSI/BHMA F76) of the PDQ XGT Series Grade 1 Extra Heavy Duty Cylindrical Lock.

The PDQ XGT Series is an extra heavy duty cylindrical lock certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.2 Grade 1 and cycle tested to over 3 times the BHMA standard. A 2:1 latch bolt throw allows a 41 degree lever rotation with the 2-3/4" backset, which reduces torque and lengthens the life of the lock.

XGT is the step up from the GT Series for doors that face heavy abuse, with 3,000 lbf-in of lever torque resistance and a 13-gauge steel anti-rotation plate. It is assembled in Lancaster, PA.

Yes. The XGT176 privacy lock covers doors from 1-3/4 inches to 2-1/4 inches thick, and it ships preset for 1-3/4 inches, so a 2 inch door just needs the thru-bolt adjustment at install. It mounts through the door with thru-bolting into a standard ANSI A156.115 (161) cylindrical prep.
