Thomas & Betts 3350 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the Thomas & Betts 3350 connector metal or plastic?
The 3350 is a non-metallic connector, grey in color. That makes it a plastic body fitting rather than a die-cast or steel one, so there is no metallic path through the fitting itself and no zinc or steel finish to worry about in damp or corrosive locations.
2) What is the difference between Thomas & Betts and Steel City on the 3350 connector?
Same part. Steel City is the sub-brand label carried on the Thomas & Betts 3350, so a spec or takeoff calling out either name is pointing at the same connector. Order against manufacturer part number 3350.
3) Is the Thomas & Betts 3350 sold individually or in a box of 100?
It is sold by the each, so ordering quantity 25 gets you 25 connectors, not 25 cartons. Useful if you are stocking a service truck or only patching a handful of terminations rather than buying bulk for a full rough-in.
