Metallics MT212L6 Power Bits XLong 3/8" 6" (2pcs)

Yes. A 3/8 inch power bit is the socket size that matches the 3/8 inch hex head found on the self-drilling and self-tapping screws used for strut, metal studs, and sheet metal. The MT212L6 is the extra-long 6 inch version of that bit, so it reaches fasteners set back from the face of the work.

A one-piece 6 inch bit like the MT212L6 gives you the reach in a single shank, so there is no holder joint to wobble or come apart under impact. A short insert bit plus a holder is more flexible if you swap tip sizes often, but it adds a connection point and usually less effective reach. If you are repeatedly driving 3/8 inch hex heads in deep boxes, panels, or overhead strut, the extra-long one-piece bit is the one to keep in the pouch.

Two bits per pack, supplied in a pouch. For crews running hex-head self-drilling screws all day, order multiples rather than relying on a single pack.
