Precision Lock PRECISIONMOUNT Magnetic Catch Display Mount

That is exactly what the Precision Lock PRECISIONMOUNT concealed magnetic catch does. It uses a strong magnetic disc to hold the door closed, so no latch or strike is involved. It suits pull handle entry doors, custom door work, and openings where the original latch is hard or impossible to replace. It holds the door closed only, so it is not a security device and gives you no keyed or locked function.

A concealed magnetic catch is the usual way out of that. The PRECISIONMOUNT was made for difficult to replace latches: the magnetic disc holds the door in the closed position, so you are not hunting a discontinued latch or matching an old strike prep. Understand what you give up first, though. There is no latchbolt, so the door is held, not secured, and anything needing a locking function still needs a real lock.

Both are magnetic catches for door openings. The Trimco 810 is a heavy-duty catch from the 810 Series and comes as that one build. The PRECISIONMOUNT is a concealed catch offered in two designs, Standard and Heavy Duty, so you can spec down for light interior doors instead of buying heavy duty everywhere. If the catch has to be hidden when the door is closed, the PRECISIONMOUNT is the concealed one of the two.

Commercial. The PRECISIONMOUNT is a commercial-duty magnetic catch for door openings, not a cabinet catch, and the Heavy Duty design is there for the harder-used doors in a building. Property managers standardizing across a floor can spec the same catch on every opening that has a pull handle instead of a latch.
